On June 3rd, 2023 DEEP Conservation Enforcement Officer Jordan Jacquo was on patrol and overheard a dispatch for a motorcycle accident on Route 691 in Meriden. Officer Jacquo was the first to arrive on scene and quickly assessed the situation.
The victim of the crash had suffered a serious injury to his lower extremity. Officer Jacquo applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding, subsequently saving the man’s life.
On September 23rd Officer Jacquo was asked to be the guest of honor at a fundraiser for the man and his family.
To say we are proud of Officer Jacquo is an understatement.
