DMHAS Police Serve Arrest Warrants at Whiting
On Tuesday, September 5, 2017, the Connecticut State Police Major Crime Squad along with DMHAS Police began executing arrest warrants for staff members at the Whiting Max facility (70 O’Brien Drive, Middletown) accused of abusing a patient.

After the abuse was discovered, the patient was relocated and the identified staff members were placed on administrative leave.

An investigation by the Connecticut State Police Central District Major Crime Squad along with DHMAS Police resulted in arrest warrants being granted for 10 individuals by the 9th GA Superior Court in Middletown.

The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are anticipated.
